Abundance Fairy

Oh my goodness, I am still so overwhelmed with gratitude! Let me explain a little bit. There is this beautiful and completely awesome website full of MAGIC called Abundance by Magic. I have been so deeply touched to have been chosen as recipient #3! My life has taken some interesting turns recently (mostly internally!) and I was almost feeling ready to give up until I reached out to the universe to show me the way to peace. And holy moly, when you ask you RECEIVE baby!! =D 

So I was following my gut this morning as I had woken up unusually early, and doing a few things online. Something felt strange, as I kept noticing weird synchronicity all over the place… piece by piece, I was finally hinted at going to check out this website, and OH MY GOD! Even reading through the post, I didn’t realize yet that it was me until I skimmed through the comments below it all! I was so shocked. In a totally grateful and appreciative way, I was just stunned by the magic wand of this AMAZING elf. It was like the universe just shook me up to say “Now you just wait a darn second missy, you are seeming to be forgetting how awesome and deserving of abundance and MAGIC you are!! Let me show you a thing or two!” Lol.

Really though, I was so deeply touched. I went to take a shower and just cried the whole time in the shower. I felt relieved, grateful, joyful, peaceful, abundant, heard, loved, and so much more! I received so much inspiration and creative ideas just after all of this magic, and in fact, I was so inspired that I swore to myself I would do whatever I could to spread this magic. All because it feels SO GOOD! And if I can share with others the awesome beautiful feelings that I’ve felt all day today, then I would be over-the-moon happy! 

So thank you Universe, and THANK YOU Abundance by Magic elf!!!! You have changed my life in big and small ways, all before I had even gone to check what gift lay waiting for me in my paypal account!! When I actually saw what I was given, I was SPEECHLESS AGAIN. The magic alone being made to feel special was enough to change my life and totally make my day. And the magic CONTINUES as I think of what wonderful ways I can spend this beautiful magical gift! I will wait until I am so inspired that I know “YES, this is what I am going to do with it! Definitely!” 

Again, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. What a wonderful thing, to spread magic, love, abundance and more by reminding someone that they are special. Every single one of us (yes, YOU reading this!!) is special and deserving of magic and abundance, and ultimately, LOVE! I’m not sure which is more fun, giving or receiving! LOL So I will continue to do both, thank you very much! =D

Inspired Living is hosting the Winter Fair 2009 on December 6th, a Sunday from 10am-6pm at  Jeff’s Pirates’ Cove in Ipan, Talofofo on the beautiful island of Guam.

The Winter Fair is essentially an arts & crafts fair, but will entail much entertainment, raffle prizes, activities for the kids, and great food as well!

Arbonne Spa Party in my home!

So I hosted an Arbonne Spa party in my home last Sunday! It was fun and a much needed retreat from the daily grind. It is always nice to get women together to have a good time! We had some yummy treats to nibble on as well, like salad, pesto dip, chips, cheese, crackers, brownies, watermelon, tea, and wine! We pampered our faces and our feet. Quite divine if I do say so myself. Amanda Young was the Arbonne representative (along with Kendra!) and we had a lovely group including my mom Libby, sister Marissa, Marie, Vicky & her adorable daughter Jade, as well as Dione & her mother Shirley. We had a grand old time!

I totally recommend any gathering that includes good food, pampering, lovely women & lively conversation!

Visit Inspired Living Now!

As a natural progression of my business life, I have started Inspired Living, offering creative development services and opportunities for community fun here on Guam. I hope to eventually open up a Creative Sanctuary, where people can come and participate in a wide array of classes, artshops, playshops, support groups, discussions, and more. It is also in my dream to publish an Inspired Living book, full of stories, photos, games, quotes & jokes, experiences, ideas, and more collected from all who want to contribute! In the meantime, I am hosting a variety of events that bring people together to share love and & laughter.

Prosperity Goddess

In the prosperity corner of my home, I have applied some Feng Shui principles and techniques to enhance the overall prosperity in my life. To the left is this really cool goddess figurine that my mom gave to me. I just love her! I have decided that with her beautiful purpleness, bouquet of roses, and general peacefulness, that she is a definite symbol of prosperity. My vision of prosperity is one of peace, love, beauty and joy, and she emulates all of these for me! And her golden skin is just the icing on the cake if you will.

And who better than a joyful little golden Buddha to have in your prosperity corner? He sits in the leaves of silk plant in a wooden basket on the same shelf as my prosperity goddess. I just love how he makes me smile. My friend Amanda gifted me with this little guy, so thanks Amanda! 

Pictured below is a painting I did of the mouth of a river flowing out into the ocean. For me, besides water being a symbol of prosperity, this image is a reminder that as we just effortlessly flow downstream, we eventually flow out into expansive oceans of infinite possibilities. That life is indeed meant to be easy, effortless, and peaceful. I put a rainbow of color into this painting to signify the variety in life, and the wide array of joyful possibilities we can choose from. Most of all, it is very calming for me to gaze upon, reminding me to not work too hard, and to pause to enjoy life’s glorious silences.

Prosperity Water Painting

When I was introduced to this concept of “paying what feels good” by Melanie, I was so excited. I had this feeling of freedom, opportunity and flexibility. The pressure was taken off. On the “paying” side of the coin, I really felt that something revolutionary was going on under the surface. I experienced a bit of anxiety (am I paying enough? what if I end up not being able to pay at all?) and it was very eye-opening to see where the foundation of my beliefs surrounding money lay. Arbitrary dollar amounts, values, and worth had been set precedent in my mind about what a “decent” payment might be. I decided to throw out those arbitrary amounts. I asked myself the genuine question, what payment feels good for me to pay at this time? A number came up, and I went with it. I decided that I would send forth my gratitude for this money exchange, that I’d truly appreciate the service I was paying for. By living in the moment and living in love, gratitude, forgiveness and appreciation, perhaps the time would come where I felt compelled to give this same person an even larger sum of money, because of the gratitude I feel toward this person and their service. Who knows? I do know that it felt really good, to pay what feels good.

So when it came to implementing some kind of payment system, or a price for my art, this concept came to mind. Okay, it really came up because I just couldn’t think of a “fair” price for the work I offer. Each piece is so unique and is an intuitive process that I really just can’t put a definite price on. It also came together this way because I was already painting the pieces. I wanted them to go to homes where they’d be loved and appreciated…not sitting in my closet because I have no more room on my walls for my paintings. So the price I would receive for each painting didn’t really matter at the time. I want to send my art out into the world, to people who desire to be a part of this experience. If there is a person out there who is dying for a piece of my work, feeling so inspired by a particular style or piece, envisioning it already on their walls…then who am I to stop them from loving it? Let’s say for whatever reason this same person is experiencing great financial difficulties and coming up with an extra $15 for what seems like a luxury purchase (because he or she doesn’t believe that it is necessary for their well-being) is a stretch. I would rather see my painting on that person’s wall, bringing them joy and inspiration on an ongoing basis. It would bring ME joy and inspiration to share in this person’s well-being. Besides, it just feels good knowing that someone is buying something from me at a price that is perfect for them. I’ve received amounts on both ends of the spectrum, and I’m feeling a balance in the universe. I’m experiencing abundance in its true nature of ebbing and flowing. Money comes and goes. Creations from love and inspiration last forever.

As I have been transforming my feelings and beliefs surrounding money and wealth, it has occurred to me that I already am so very wealthy. There is already infinite abundance in my life, and here I am to take the time to recognize the ways in which I am gloriously rich and prosperous!

• First and formost, I am a spiritual being with a deep and ongoing connection to infinite love and abundance in all areas of my life.
• I come from non-physical energy, sprung forth from divine love and inspiration.
• The scenery that surrounds my home is gorgeous! I have an oceanview on one side that boasts spectacular sunsets, and a mountain view of the island on all other sides. There are trees everywhere, exotic flora and fauna and a breeze of fresh air up here!
• My grandmother has been so generous to allow my boys and I to stay in the downstairs apartment of her huge home for a ridiculously low rent. I have the convenience of living with someone, but the privacy of our own space.
• I have free will to decorate as I please, and have done so! My home has been totally redesigned to reflect the beauty that I feel within. I have painted the walls, brought in radiant foliage, and put up my favorite art pieces on display. My home feels alive with love and beauty!
• My children and I have an abundance of food to eat, and plenty of clean drinking water!
• We have plenty of clothing to wear.
• We have a car to take us places!
• I have a beautiful and efficient office space in which to work and create.
• There is plenty of storage space.
• The garage is being turned into a playroom to compensate for our petite living space.
• We have a TV, DVD player, CD player, toaster oven, stove, refrigerator, telephone, air conditioner, fans, baby monitor, crockpot, waffle maker, rice cooker, mini food processor, access to a computer and an abundant array of other convenient technologies!
• I am alive and have the opportunity to choose joy in an infinite number of moments!
• I spend my days expressing myself creatively through writing, art, music, dance, sharing, communing with nature and my children, and venturing out into the world for frequent exploration and adventure!
• Money is a bonus that adds to the pleasure of just being ME every single day.
• I am grateful for all the little blessings (including money) that come my way each day!
• I have all my christmas shopping done and it isn’t even Thanksgiving yet!
• I am blessed with a beautiful physical form that allows the divine energy to flow through me and express itself in so many wonderful ways.
• I have sunshine, food, water, and air to nourish my body and soul.
• I am ever evolving in my desires and actions, free to be, do, and have whatever I choose in any moment!
• I am SO wealthy!!!
• And so are you!
